The trip

Spend Christmas at sea on a liveaboard journey built around Daedalus, Zabargad and Rocky Island. The three offshore areas combine reef walls, coral landscapes and open-water diving. Life on board is part of the trip, with seven nights on Sea Serpent Miss Nouran.

Route and highlights

• Daedalus: offshore reef and wall diving.
• Zabargad: coral environments around the island.
• Rocky Island: steep walls and soft corals.

How the journey is arranged

• Travel and embarkation: the published Danish package uses Kastrup/Billund–Hurghada flights and a transfer to Port Ghalib/the boat.
• First diving day: departure from port and a check dive. The middle of the voyage is devoted to the DZR reef areas.
• Final diving and return: fewer dives near the end, return to port and transfer for the homeward journey. The final flight and last-dive timetable is confirmed in the written offer.

Included in the published supplier package

• Published Danish return flights, visa, airport/boat transfers and 20 kg checked baggage plus 5 kg hand baggage.
• Seven boat nights; meals, snacks, water, soft drinks, coffee and tea on board.
• Six diving days as described by the supplier; 12-litre cylinders, weights and Nitrox. Actual dive count depends on the operating programme.
• Local guides and the supplier-listed fuel, marine-park and administration charges.

Not included / additional costs

• Personal travel insurance, onboard flight meals and an extra diving bag.
• Optional upper-deck cabin upgrade, equipment rental, alcohol and crew tips.
• A tour leader is not included.
